Even after guest starter Eeero Remes as a local hero won the second day of
the Borilli European Enduro Championship 2022, the 24MX ROUND 2#, in Sipoo,
Finland, Belgian Erik Willems retains the overall lead. The Husqvarna rider
was even snatched second place on the day in the very last special stage:
Briton Daniel Mundell pushed him into third place in the overall standings
of day two.

2023 and 2024 ISDE host countries confirmed

During the recent FIM Board meeting the host countries for the next two editions of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) were confirmed as follows: 2023 Argentina (CAMOD) and 2024 Spain (RFME).

Things are looking good for 2022! With the 2021 Borilli FIM EnduroGP World Championship having only just finished, the FIM have today announced the provisional dates for a seven-round 2022 EnduroGP series, starting in Spain in early May and finishing in Germany in October.

Beta’s Brad Freeman has been crowned the 2021 FIM EnduroGP World Champion at the sixth and final round of the championship in France. Doing it in style, Freeman raced to victory on day two in Langeac to secure the EnduroGP title.

Garcia Claims Double EnduroGP Win in Portugal

There was double delight for Josep Garcia (KTM) at round five of the BORILLI FIM EnduroGP World Championship in Portugal, with the Spaniard winning the second day of competition to secure both EnduroGP victories over the weekend. Finland’s Albin Norrbin (Fantic) became the first World Champion of the 2021 series when he wrapped up the Enduro Youth class with a win.

European Enduro Championship goes down to the wire.

Krystof Kouble from the Czech Republic competed: the Sherco rider had started the day eight championship points behind and still finished the season as the new champion! “I felt comfortable from the start and didn’t make any mistakes,” the junior was pleased afterwards. In fact, he had not won a single special stage by the halfway point, but was already leading by a clear margin because the competitors behind him were making life difficult for each other. Especially his biggest competitor, the Italian Enrico Rinaldi, did not manage well at all: “After the overnight rain, the track was very slippery and I didn’t want to take to much risks.” Towards the end of the day things went a little better again, but the wrong lane choice in the last extreme test then cost him almost half a minute and threw him back to sixth place in the overall standings. This ate up his points lead and Kouble was crowned the new champion.
Final European Enduro in the Netherlands a with prologue and closing ceremony

Next weekend, on 30 October and 1 and 2 October, the final of the European Enduro Championship will take place in Hellendoorn, Netherland. The organising Motor Club Nijverdal Hellendoorn (MCNH) will hold a prologue for the first time on Thursday from 4.30 p.m. and after the two long riding days on Friday and Saturday there will be the award ceremony.
