Canard and Martin win in Japan!

Trey Canard has taken the overall win in Sugo, Japan with 2-1 results to beat Cooper Webb (1-3) and Romain Febvre (3-2).

Webb won race one after a battle with Canard, with Febvre back in third after starting ninth. But in race two Canard and Febvre were locked in a race-long duel with Canard hanging on impressively for the win. Webb finished 50 seconds back in third.

In MX2 Tim Gajser won race one beating Jeremy Martin by 24 seconds. Martin had a bad start but Gajser managed to crash himself and still get the win.

Gajser was leading again in race two from the American only to go down hard over the bars and re-start at the back of the pack. Gajser would eventually finish a subdued fifth as Martin took advantage and went on to win the race and the overall.
