Cairoli on THAT pass by Herlings – unnecessary!
Tony Cairoli didn’t attend the press conference at Mattereley Basin but he did earlier admit he disappointment at Herlings first moto pass.
Cairoli said to Lisa Leyland: “I got run out. It was not a necessary move, it was quite aggressive but it’s racing. The second moto was clean racing but this is motocross and I’m looking forward to the next GP in France.”
The defending world champ refused to shake Herlings’ hand after the finish line and rode across his front wheel and ignoring Herlings hand, although he did shake the Dutchman’s hand in the interview waiting zone but understandably wasn’t that enthusiastic in doing so!
Cairoli is angry right now and it will be fascinating to see how he approaches the next few weeks, will he go for revenge if he gets the chance?
