Cairoli back on the 350!

MXGP journalist Adam Wheeler is reporting that Tony Cairoli will go back to the 350 machine this weekend in Loket and it has now been confirmed by the Red Bull factory KTM team themselves on Twitter!

“Antonio Cairoli will race the 350 SX-f,” affirmed the orange team this morning.

It is welcome news as Cairoli has never looked his aggressive self on the 450, attempting to ride smooth instead of attacking, especially when he got a bad start. Cairoli was famed for his ability to come through the field on the 350 and push hard late in the race but on the heavier and more powerful 450 the pint-sized Cairoli seemed to struggle to put his personality into the bike.

We might just start to see the old Cairoli again, and no doubt AC222 is looking towards Herlings coming into the class in 2017 and wants to give himself the best preparation possible!
