Butron signs contract extension!

Jose Butron will stay in the MXGP World Championship for 2017. It has been confirmed that he will stay with the Marchetti KTM outfit. The fast starting Spaniard has had some good races this year but struggles with consistency in what is a very tough class. Next year will be his third campaign in the MXGP World Championship.

Ivo Monticelli is also expected to stay with the team for 2017 in what will be his last year in the MX2 World Championship. He will need some good results next year to gain an MXGP ride for ’18.

Jose Butron confirms on Instagram his contract extension:

Hoy anuncio de forma oficial mi renovacion con @marchetti_racing_team_ktm para el Mundial MxGp 2017, pero con cambios importantes que os ire comunicando… Gracias Familia por confiar en mis capacidades otro año mas.
