British Masters Championship RD1: Results

The first round of the Pirelli British Masters Championship took place at Hawkstone over the weekend.
Graeme Irwin won the MX1 class as he was the first 450 across the line in both of the moto’s. Irwin missed a lot of his pre-season due to injury so is continuing to catch up with his riding. Rob Davidson who impressed at round one of the British Championship proved that was no fluke as he was second overall behind Irwin.
In the MX2 class, it was Micky Eccless who was in superb form. Eccles was on for a podium at the first round of the British Championship before his bike let him down. He comfortably won the MX2 class at Hawkstone and won a moto outright! In this form he could put in some good results in the EMX250 class.
The experienced Lewis Tombs clinched second overall as he pipped Jake Millward.
