Bad news: i wont be behind the gate in Argentina this weekend. Got an MRI scan yesterday and it turned out there was to much inflammation in the tendon to continue. From the first international race in hawkstone park i went from weekend to weekend without riding during the week because it was to painfull. At this level its hard to do it like that and to keep fighting with the best guys in the world. So after 2months, 3 injections and a lot of painkillers we decided to get an operation tomorrow to get it fixed. Its a hard decision we made with the team because i felt i had the speed and the championship was still long but this was the best solution in the end. Not sure when i will return to racing. Might be missing italy also. It will all depends from how its going. Dont want to rush things now because the championship is over. I wanna thanks the whole @suzukiworldmxgp team, @yentlhaazen22ks for supporting me with this and for believing in me, also all the people who tried to helped me with this problem. I will be back stronger!! @ansrmx @rockstarenergy @formabootsusa @oakley @suzukicycles @ortema_shop #suomy📷 @rayarcherphoto
We would like to wish Kevin the best in his recovery and hope he will be back racing soon!
