Breaking News! Guillod and Standing Construct Yamaha part ways!

Standing Construct Yamaha have sensationally parted ways with their MX2 GP winner Valentin Guillod.

The team appeared to have wanted the Swiss man to do more preparation in the sand as he prepares to race his first season on a 450 (and after his struggles in the sand this season cost a potential top three finish in the MX2 championship), but Guillod preferred to stay in the south of France and ride hard pack.

You can read the PR below:

Standing Construct Yamaha Yamalube and Valentin Guillod have decided on Thursday 29th October to end their cooperation.

The reason for this decision is due to a difference of opinion in how and where to prepare in winter and which training schedules would be best to apply in order to perform at a high level during the course of a complete season in MXGP in all different circumstances.

Standing Construct Yamaha Yamalube wants to thank Valentin Guillod and his entourage for the successful cooperation the past years and the results that have been achieved together.
