Boisrame wins EMX250 in Latvia – Barr keeps red plate!

It was a good weekend for Assomotor Honda French rider, Mathys Boisrame as he won the fourth round of the EMX250 Championship. It’s the second round the young French rider has won so far this season.

Boisrame won the first moto but in the second moto he battled with Martin Barr the entire moto. It was a great battle to watch with Barr making the move on the French rider on the last lap to come home in fourth.

Barr ended up fourth in both of the moto’s to miss out on a podium yet again but he keeps hold of the championship lead. Barr has a two point lead over his Revo Husqvarna team mate, Mel Pocock and eight points over Mathys Boisrame in what is shaping up to be a hotly contested championship.

Joining Boisrame on the podium in Latvia was Mikkel Haarup, the young Dane had a terrible start in the first moto but worked his way up to seventh. However, in the second moto he took a much better start to win and secure second overall.
