Benoit Paturel injury update and see his huge crash

Benoit Paturel had been having a good season competing in the MXGP World Championship the JM Honda Racing team after a tough few years with injuries and health problems. Unfortunately, the French rider had a huge crash during the free practice session at the MXGP of Kegums.

The team offered an update on the French riders injury and it’s not the best of news. “Benoit had a medical check and got a scan. They find out that Benoit have 2 fractures in the back. T12 is broken and the tailbone has a crack. We wish him a good recovery”.

It’s a big blow for the French rider with another injury setback and not ideal for Jacky Martens who’s already lost Julien Lieber to retirement – a tough first season for Martens running his MXGP team.
