Barr and Irwin confirm 2017 plans – including some MXGP!

Martin Barr and Graeme Irwin have confirmed they have re-signed with Buildbase Honda for 2017 after both had brilliant seasons with Dave Thorpe’s team in 2016.
It also included the added bonus of some MXGP outings for both riders, with Barr moving up to the 450 for the GPs and MX Nationals.
Barr said: “For 2017 I’m staying with Buildbase Honda again. I’m riding MX2 in the British championship and the MX1 class in the MX nationals. I will also race the Italian championship and two or three GPs as well so I’m really looking forward to getting started and excited with riding the all new CRF450.”
Irwin, currently recovering from a dislocated shoulder sustained at the MXON, commented: “I’ll be back with Dave Thorpe. This year has been great and I believe next year it will only be better! You will see me doing at least three rounds of the MXGP World Championship.”
