Wembley Arenacross qualifying results!
The average qualifying times placed the SR75 World Suzuki rider ahead of team-mate Thomas Ramette and red plate holder Cedric Soubeyras, yet the RFX St Blazey posted the fasted individual heat qualifying time – the only Pro rider to get a sub-25-second lap. The other Pros still in with a fighting chance of winning this evenings event, namely, Jack Brunell and Adam Chatfield qualified sixth and 15th.
In the Pro Lites qualifying, series leader Yannis Irsuti (I-Fly JK Yamaha) was marginally ahead of Buildbase Honda’s Chris Bayliss who, having recovered from missing Sheffield due to illness, was on fine form. Belfast’s Jason Meara (RFX ST Blazey) was third.
In the Youth classes both SuperMini and 65cc categories have been tied up with Ben Clayton and Bobby Bruce securing first and second in the larger capacity class and Ashton Boughen and Ben Mustoe cleaning up in the 65s. In both groups, third place in the championship is still up for grabs with a number of riders in the frame.
