Vuillemin banned from team France despite being Ferrandis coach!
The bizarre nature of the French MXoN team selection has continued after David Vuillemin, the coach of Dylan Ferrandis, has been banned from the French team for publicly saying Musquin should be on the team.
Vuillemin is known for his outspoken comments and AMA bias at times, but this decision does seem a bit extreme for a man who just gave an opinion and has represented France well in the GPs and America during his career as well as winning the MXoN at Namur in 2001.
He also used to be a riding coach for another member of the team, Gautier Paulin, so it looked from the outside that Vuillemin’s presence would have been a positive thing.

Now it means the squad have taken away their MX2 rider’s coach for a huge race with Dylan now calling up Bruno Losito who worked with Ferrandis in MXGP.
The defending champions certainly haven’t made things easy on themselves this year and with Romain Febvre currently recovering from a concussion and a broken rib after a big crash in Turkey, their preparation certainly hasn’t been as ideal as they would have wanted.
