The coronavirus lockdown in Europe was a trying time for South African teen brothers Leonard and Barend du Toit, who were sitting twiddling their thumbs at their hosts in Holland, whilst they just wanted to go out to ride and race.

When conditions eased, they wasted no time in getting their sand riding skills up to scratch, with experienced teammate Rob van de Veerdonk showing the way.
