Video: Justin Hill – unmasked
Leatt have done a nice interview with Justin Hill on why he races, what he did during lockdown and his goals on the 450.
“There is nothing like this, there is nothing like riding,” admitted Hill. “It’s a whole different way to live, after not having it for a while you definitely get the itch again to do it.
Hill had a disappointing rookie season on the 450 last year despite his immense talent in supercross but he has turned things around this year since switching to the Motoconcepts Honda team. Currently sitting seventh in points, he believes he is ready to challenge the top guys, but even Hill has wrestled with doubts as to whether this was the path he was meant to be on.
“You constantly question, is this my thing, am I born to do this? And I think I am, it just comes so naturally to me and I really enjoy it. I feel like I am in a good place mentally and physically to reach that top.”
