Ken Roczen had quite the day at Anaheim.
He remarkably qualified in first position in his first race back, but a bad start in the main left the returning Roczen with some work to do.
Roczen though was impressive, he didn’t get too excited, stayed calm and let the race come to him as he worked his way methodically through the field to finish fourth, even surviving a scary moment when he nearly went down big time.
The German wasn’t entirely satisfied however, saying he belongs in the podium and winning but did admit he had to be happy with fourth taking everything into consideration.
It looks like this race was validation for Roczen’s self-belief and you have to think he is only going to get stronger from here, what a story and what a rider!
