The VHR KTM team have been hit with a number of injuries throughout the course of the season including Scotty Verhaeghe, Alexis Verhaeghe, Cyril Genot and David Herbreteau. It’s a real shame as it’s hurt the team’s progress.
The team have managed to draft in a replacement rider for the penultimate round of the MX2 World Championship. French rider, Anthony Bourdon who’s in the middle of the French supercross season has been given the opportunity to race in Assen.
Bourdon hasn’t got any expectations for the GP this weekend as he’s been racing Supercross he’s not the best prepared for Assen but he’ll enjoy racing against the worlds best 250cc riders.
The VHR KTM team enjoyed some success at the Swiss GP with Adrien Malaval who filled in for the team there and he got fifteenth in a moto. The team will be hoping for a similar result from Bourdon this weekend.
