Van Berkel stays with SKS Husqvarna

Lars van Berkel moved up to the 450cc this year and had a pretty good year mainly concentrating on the Dutch Master of Motocross as he finished seventh in the MX1 class.

The Dutch rider and the SKS Husqvarna team have agreed to stay together for the 2019 season. There’s no doubt that Van Berkel will want to push into the top five of the Dutch series.

As well as the Dutch Master of Motocross he’ll also contest the Open Dutch Championship as well as selected ADAC MX Masters and MXGP World Championship rounds.

Joining Van Berkel under the SKS Husqvarna awning will be Boyd van der Voorn and Rick Wennekes who will race in the MX2 class focusing on the Dutch Masters of Motocross.

“Husqvarna SKS is one of the better teams based in the Netherlands, I can always rely on their knowledge. The bike is good, now I have to step it up myself. I will change a few things in my training program to get the maximum out of myself. I will ride more and train more efficient. Hopefully I will be higher up in our domestic series but also do good in the German series and some wildcard GP’s”. Van Berkel commented.
