The EMX250 Championship is a great series to watch and experienced French rider, Valentin Teillet has secured an entry to contest the series at Saint Jean d’Angely taking place this weekend.

Teillet has plenty of experience in the GP paddock as he was an established MX2 World Championship rider at one stage, injuries just held him back throughout his career which is a real shame.

Since moving up to the MX1 class, Teillet has been contesting the French Elite Championship. Last year it was Xavier Boog that clinched the title but Teillet ended up second in the series. This year Teillet sits sixth in the championship standings but will be wanting to move further up the order.

Teillet is on KTM machinery this year with the VRT KTM team. Ten years ago, Teillet actually won the EMX250 Championship when he was part of Jacky Martens junior KTM outfit so it’ll be cool for him to contest the series once again.

The last race the French rider contested on a 250cc was in 2014 when he competed at an AMA National round at Glen Helen.
