Young Belgian talent, Jago Geerts crashed during the sighting lap of the second moto in Indonesia at the weekend. Geerts twisted his ankle and couldn’t take part in moto two which was a shame.
The young Belgian is leading the Dutch Masters of Motocross and the final round of the series takes place this weekend but Geerts is now a doubt for the event which is a shame but a decision will be made on whether he can compete at the event later in the week.
“I crashed on a wet spot during the sighting lap of the second moto and hurt my ankle. The same injury as earlier in the season. I was in a lot of pain, could barely walk. Ik had no other option then to withdraw. A big disappointment. I hope to be fit for next weekend, for the last round of the Dutch Masters in Lichtenvoorde.” Geerts stated in a press release.
