Tonkov OUT for Latvia!

Alex Tonkov will miss this week’s MXGP round in Kegums, Latvia after a heavy crash at Lommel yesterday.

According to a source within the Wilvo Standing Construct Yamaha team, Tonkov suffered “several bruises” and has been advised to miss this weekend’s GP by the doctors.

It is hoped Tonkov, who currently sits fourth in the MX2 standings, will be fit to ride in Germany one week later.
