Tixier replaces injured Febvre in team France for MXoN
The French Federation have announced that Jordi Tixier will replace Romain Febvre after Marvin Musqin allegedly refused and Gautier Paulin didn’t want France to go unless Marvin raced!
The French made the announcement on Facebook:
Following the injury package of Romain Febvre and on proposal from the national coach, here is the composition of the French team defined by the Federation French of motorcycling for the motocross of nations to be held in red bud (USA) on 6 And 7 October:
Gautier Paulin (Husqvarna) – mxgp category – captain…
Dylan Ferrandis (Yamaha) – Category mx2
Jordi Tixier (KTM) – open category

Tixier, who has been injured for most of the year, and recently split with BOS KTM has a lot of talent but it won’t be easy for him to find his form in two weeks. He was recently signed by Sarholz KTM for the final ADAC race, so will at least have some race time under his belt.
