Finally some good news for a former MX2 World Champion as Jordi Tixier will make his return to racing this weekend.
Tixier will race the MX1 class at the fifth round of the French Elite motocross championship on his BOS Suspension KTM. After picking up an injury before the first round of the MXGP World Championship, Tixier has been forced to watch from the sidelines but he did get back on the bike at the start of the month.
In the past Tixier has came back too soon after an injury but it’s a different approach for him this year as he won’t be coming back to the MXGP series in Loket until he’s 100% ready – a wise move with the MXGP class being so tough!
Tixier will be up against the likes of Valentin Teillet, Gregory Aranda and Xavier Boog in France this weekend so it’ll be a good test for him.
