Thibault Maupin makes step to EMX250

Young French rider, Thibault Maupin will make the jump up to the EMX250 championship in 2019 after racing the 125cc this year. Maupin picked up seventeen points in the EMX125 championship this year but good some good podium races in the French Championship.

It’s not a surprise to see Maupin make the step to the 250cc in 2019 because he was one of the tallest riders on the 125cc so the extra power should help him. He will stay with the same team next year in the form of team HB Racing but they make the switch to Yamaha’s from KTM.

“It’s official!!! I’ll be in blue for next season under yamaha colours and team HB Racing. I will participate in the 250 European Championship and the 250cc elite France championship”. Maupin posted on social media.
