Team Norway: MXoN rider change

Norway have been forced into making a late rider change for the Motocross Des Nations taking place next weekend.

Unfortunately, the young Corneluis Tondel has picked up a sickness at the worst time possible as it’s ruled him out of the event at Assen.

It means that Henrik Wahl will replace Tondel in the Open class. Wahl has won the Norwegian title twice and is also this years Scandinavian champ.

The other two riders for Norway are Kevin Horgmo (MX2) and Håkon Fredriksen so they’ve still got a strong team.

“I’m happy I got the opportunity to race the MXoN this year, as one of the riders got sick. Currently there are many good riders from Norway so I’m glad I got the chance to attend such a big event. I’ve participated in the MXoN before so I know what’s in store. But it will definitely be tough. The goal is to qualify as I think we have a good team this year”, Wahl stated.
