Charley Irwin: “I can’t wait for the event. I’m going to do my absolute best and practice as much as possible before I go. I’m so glad to get picked because the 65’s have some very quick riders this year. Thank you to everyone for giving me the chance to go and experience this”

Fin Wilson: “I am thrilled to be picked on the Irish team for the Coupe de l’Avenir and I am really looking forward to the event”

85cc Class

Aaron Gray: “I’m delighted on getting picked to represent my country. The past few years that I went I’ve had bad luck, with getting hurt and bike problems. Hopefully this year things will go differently, this is a high level event and at a very technical track. You are out there against the best riders in Europe. Our team needs to be mentally and physically strong for this event. I’d like to to thank mam and dad for making this possible, Autoworx, CCM Racing and Stuart Edmonds for the help!”

Ross Kearns: “I am so delighted to be picked to represent Ireland at the Coupe de l’Avenir in Belguim next month. I’ve put a lot of time and effort into getting good results, I will try and do the same when I get to Belgium. I’m looking forward to competing against the other riders from all the different countries. I’d like to thank all the members of the panel that chose the team, I would also like to wish my team members the best of luck.”

Jake Maunsell: “It’s a privilege to be picked to represent ireland, I put in a lot of hard work into this year and I’m glad it payed off.  I’m looking forward to getting together with the rest of the team and doing our country proud.”

Under 21 Class

Jason Meara: “After such a up and down year with injuries it would be nice to end the year on a high. This is my second year in a row at this event so I know what to expect. I also get on well with both Dylan and Jake so let’s hope we can help each other out and get the job done.”

Jake Sheridan: “I’m really looking forward to racing the Coupe de l’Avenir this year for team Ireland. I hope we can get the job done and bring home the win!”

Dylan Stynes: “Its an honour to be picked to race for my country again in Belgium at such a big event, the U21 Motocross of Nations. I’ve been having a good season so far so this just tops it off. We have a strong team so I know that we can bring home a good result. I’d just like to say a massive shout out to Gavin and Nickie Craigie at CCM Racing and Michael Woodsworth and Steve Knight at TM UK for making this possible. As always I couldn’t do what I’m doing without all the great help and support I have. Thanks to these guys CCM Racing, CCR, Corcoran Chemicals, Metcon, TM UK, TMC MotoX, Fox Head Europe, Macho Martial Arts, Electraction, Jimmy Jones Plant Hire, BSC, Swords Motor Factors, Vrooam, ReTink Graphics, Spence Racing, Renthal, Ryno Power, SEC Academy.
