Team France draft in Jordi Tixier for Assen

After Romain Febvre broke his femur during the MXGP of Sweden, the French have already confirmed his replacement and it’s Jordi Tixier.

Tixier is a privateer in the MXGP paddock this year with the VHR KTM team but has been improving as the season has went on. The French rider also has good memories from the event last year in RedBud as he was part of the winning team.

The FFM posted the following statement:

Following the injury  of Romain Febvre, here is the French team for the motocross of nations that will be held in Assen (Netherlands) on September 28th and 29th:

Gautier Paulin (Yamaha) – MXGP category – captain
Tom Vialle 28 (KTM) – MX2 Category
Jordi Tixier (KTM) – OPEN category
