Italian rider, Alberto Forato has been with the Assomotor Honda team since moving up to the 250cc and competing in the EMX250 Championship but will make a change for the 2019 season.
Forato has agreed a deal with the Maddii Racing Team and will make the change over to Husqvarna machinery. After finishing fourth in the EMX250 Championship in 2017 this year didn’t go to plan for him as he only managed to finish fourteenth in the championship.
The Italian will be hoping the switch to the Maddii Racing Team will bring out the best in him and that he can rediscover the speed he showed in 2017. Forato will once again race the EMX250 Championship in 2019.
It’s already been confirmed that Mattia Guadagnini will stay with the team to partner Forato but it hasn’t yet been announced if he’ll make the move to the EMX250 series or stay in the EMX125 class to challenge for the title.
