Supercross 2 video game joins forces with Arenacross UK

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 2 is the latest high-profile brand to join forces with Arenacross, and lines up as Exclusive Video Game of the Arenacross Tour.

Over 80 riders from both 450SX and 250SX classes of the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Season are featured in the new game, including 2018 champ Jason Anderson and superstars Eli Tomac and Marvin Musquin. Improved characteristics will enhance the Supercross gaming experience with added functionality to manage the rider’s agenda, roam the compound area, and even customise riders’ celebration poses. Naturally, all the crash, bang, action elements of a ‘real’ Supercross championship remain, to test the abilities of even the most accomplished Supercross gamer.

Arenacross followers will get to test their Supercross abilities on the all-new Monster Energy Supercross 2 video game at every 2019 Tour venue. Before the shows begins, fans will get the chance to make one attempt at achieving the fastest lap possible. A leaderboard will show the best times and then the top ‘riders’ from the night will get to race against each other ‘live on track’ at each Arenacross round. The winner of each round will be invited back to the Arenacross grand finale at Sheffield on the 16th of February, to pit their skills against each other and determine the ultimate E-Supercrosser.

Commenting on the new partnership, Jonny Lupton, Product Manager at PQube Games said; “We [PQube Games and Milestone] are thrilled to be partnering with Arenacross for the 2019 AX championship and the launch of Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 2.

“Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 2 launches on February 8th, just before the finale of the AX tour, and gives fans the chance to live like a true Supercross champion! We’re excited to be giving AX fans the opportunity to experience the game at every venue as part of a mini E-Sports competition, which will see those with the fastest laps competing live on the big screen in the arena itself!”

ASL’s CEO Matt Bates added; “I am delighted to welcome Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 2 and PQube Games to the Arenacross Tour for 2019. This is another great addition to our ever-growing list of Tour partners for 2019. E-Sport is an important way of reaching young people and is important for both business and sport as a whole. Arenacross is an ideal platform from which to showcase this growing phenomenon as our audiences are perfect in terms of target market.

“All AX fans will have the opportunity to post a lap time on the Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game 2 at each round of Arenacross, with the fastest of these fans getting to compete in front of packed out arenas on each and every night of the Tour.
