Steve Dixon was a guest on the latest MXGP studio show and discussed his plans for 2020. The Brit has confirmed that two riders are currently signed for his team in 2020 and he’s on the market for another rider.
“We are bargaining at the moment (laughs). Like I say, we are a team that can compete at the top but to be at the top you need the rider to showcase you. That’s just how the season goes and injuries are a huge part of it, it goes like that”, Dixon commented.
Aussie rider, Wilson Todd has been strongly linked to the team after he confirmed he’s signed with a top MX2 World Championship team. Whilst Dixon didn’t confirm Todd has signed he did drop a hint. This month DRT will have everything in place for 2020.
“We don’t know yet (if Pessoa will stay beyond 2019), this month we will have everything finalized. We have two Australia Asian riders. One’s a girl, one is Courtney and the other one is signed”, Dixon added.
Max Anstie has also been linked with DRT but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
