The Sperrin Motopark officially opened a few weeks ago and there’s already a date for the first race event to hit the new track which looks like a fantastic job done.
The MCCNI will have a round of their series at the new track on the Sunday the 25th August. It’ll be interesting to see how the track will develop during a race day.
The track will mostly be used for racing but there will be a practice day this Sunday for anyone that wants to try out the brand new track!
MCCNI announced the news on social media.
“As you all are probably aware Mick McCullagh has opened a new track, Sperrin motopark. Mick has given us an unmissable opportunity to run one of our club rounds there.
We have decided to run Round 7 of our Club Championship there on Sunday 25th August. This means there will be no racing on Saturday 31 August as per our race calendar this race will be the 25th at Sperrins.
This is an amazing opportunity for us all to try out the new track. We have heard some great reviews and can’t wait to try it out.
Keep an eye on the page for all racing updates. Please spread the word”.
