Simpson: The main goal is to win the British championship!

Shaun Simpson caught up with Kevin Frelaud in France to talk about his successful start to the new season and revealed his main priority for himself and the RFX powered by PAR homes team is to win that British championship.

He also spoke about how having a child has changed his priorities.

“Having a child makes you think more about your life and that there is more to life than just motocross. Motocross has been my main goal since I left school at 16 years old. Now there is a new focus, motocross is second place now. I think it’s gave me an extra boost in my racing because I am more relaxed,” explained the Scotsman.

On what he is looking to improve Simpson, says, “A little bit more intensity, Tim Gajser, Antonio Cairoli are really pushing a higher intensity so a lot sprint laps, short motos, really try to push every lap for 35 minutes, if you gain half a second a lap that’s ten seconds at the end of 20 laps, that’s a long way in MXGP at the moment.”
