Sanayei withdraws from MXGP of Trentino!
Darian Sanayei picked up a knee injury at the first round of the Maxxis British Championship last weekend but tried to race round four of the MX2 World Championship.
However, due to the pain in his knee he’s been forced to withdraw from the GP this weekend. Fingers crossed, Sanayei can be back to full fitness as soon as possible.
Kawasaki give the following update in their latest press release, “Darian Sanayei, a strong second in Spain two weeks ago, was unfortunately unable to compete; the American damaged the ACL ligament in his right knee last weekend and the pain persuaded him to withdraw from the GP after attempting to ride during the first practice session.”
We will keep you updated as and when we hear more regarding the American’s injury but it comes as big blow for the Dixon Racing Team as Tommy Searle is already on the injury list.
