Rumour: JM Honda to run three MXGP riders in 2020?

It’s recently been announced that Benoit Paturel and Julien Lieber will race for the JM Honda team in the 2020 MXGP World Championship.

For a number of years, Jacky Martens has been the team manager at the Rockstar Husqvarna MX2 team but after it was confirmed he’d leave, the Belgian made the decision to start his own team in the MXGP class for the upcoming season.

Paturel and Lieber are both clearly good riders and will hope for good results in the competitive class but some good sources have told us Martens will sign a third MXGP rider.

We can’t tell you who the rider is but it’ll come as a big shock. One clue is that it’s a Russian rider (Not Tonkov or Brylyakov).
