Rumour: Febvre and Seewer on the move in 2020?

Due to a change in the Yamaha structure in 2020 which we’ve recently reported, it seems like both Romain Febvre and Jeremy Seewer could both be leaving Yamaha next season.

Former MXGP World Champion, Romain Febvre has been strongly linked to  a move with KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team) in 2020. The move would make sense as it’s a French based team.

As for Seewer, he’s been linked to a move to HRC Honda. It’s thought that Brian Bogers was told after the MXGP of Germany that he’d need to find another ride in the paddock for 2020 and the Swiss rider is rumoured to be heading red.

Seewer did hint to us that it will all sort itself out within the next few weeks. “It means I can have a lot of choice which is nice of course. You can make it easy on yourself like this. But to be honest, all the talk just really started this weekend. The rumours, that my manager came here to talk with some guys of course. I can’t say anything because they don’t know themselves yet really, what and how. It’s just like really starting but I think in 2, 3 or 4 weeks time, it will all be ready to bring it out”.

It means that both Arnaud Tonus and Gautier Paulin will both be staying with Yamaha for the 2020 season.
