Rumour: Davy Pootjes going green in 2020?

It looks like young Dutch talent, Davy Pootjes is on the move for the 2020 season. The Dutch rider had previously signed a long term contract with KTM which has seen him with the LRT KTM team and DIGA-Procross Husqvarna the past two seasons.

The long term deal he did sign ended at the end of the season. There had been talk that he could stay with the DIGA-Procross Husqvarna team but a good source has told us that won’t be the case.

The F&H team are expected to run a team on behalf of their shop. As there’s a rule in place for a team to only have three riders per class, it means Pootjes wouldn’t be part of the F&H Racing team – the team already have Van de Moosdijk, Haarup and Boisrame under contract for the MX2 World Championship next year. If rumours are to be believed then it’s thought that Pootjes will race for the “F&H Shop”.

The F&H Racing team are expected to be full factory next year but it remains to be see what sort of support Pootjes will get.

Pootjes had a really strong start to the season but unfortunately injury meant his season was cut short. If he can manage to stay injury free he could surprise many in 2020.

More news on Pootjes future as and when we get it.
