Adrian Mahoney life changed 30 years ago when he was left paralysed from the neck down after a motocross accident.
However, that didn’t stop him from looking at the sport any differently as he still loved the sport and had a lot of passion for Motocross.
Mahoney was also a massive collector of memorabilia and plenty of jerseys, number plates etc filled his room. In 2016, Mahoney attended the MXGP of Great Britain which was hosted at Matterley Basin where lots of GP riders ran stickers on their bikes as a tribute.
Last month, Mahoney also attended the Motocross Vets Des Nations where he had the opportunity to meet Ricky Johnson who was one of his hero’s.
In order to help with his funeral costs, a gofundme page has been setup and any donations will be appreciated by the family.
RIP to a Superfan of the sport!
