Revealed – 2019 Shot racegear!

PR- We know it’s not fair but we forgot to tell you. Sorry. There’s no easy way to say this because we just got caught up riding. Hitting the tracks and trails to squeeze every bit out of summer. Once the super comfortable, light weight 2019 Shot Race Gear collection landed we just couldn’t resist. But we don’t want to be selfish here’s the low-down on Shot’s 2019 stuff.

With the input of Shot Race Gear athletes Graham Jarvis, Thomas Covington and Thomas “TKO” Olsen we continued to push the boundaries for our premium Aerolite line. The 2019 Aerolite Delta gear brings together comfort, lightness and durability like never before. Thanks to a completely new chassis the Aerolite Delta pants, built around stretch armored fabric and dobby, are 19% lighter than last year’s. Super comfy might be an understatement!

Performance pre-curved fit and supreme freedom of movement enable you to get the most out of your riding. While the Aerolite Delta has all the high-end features you could want -from the anti-mud zipper, to the vented shin panel and flexible rear yoke- this is not what makes it unique. It’s lasting performance however is truly a game-changer. We designed the Aerolite Delta to resist and set a new benchmark in durability. The reinforced rear saddle panel, heat and abrasion resistant leather panels and never fading color sublimation have been tested in the most harsh conditions to guarantee a long and carefree ride.

For 2019 the light weight Shot’s Aerolite Delta jersey received a more tailored fit and strategically placed vented panels. The comfortable, performance-focused design feels like a second skin. And because the devil is in the details we refined the construction too. For example, we got rid of the stitching of the collar. The result: a jersey that’s so fresh and comfortable that it feels like your favorite cotton tee.
Want more feel-good-on-the-bike-days? Don’t look any further. The anatomic light weight Aerolite gloves are all about grip, control and comfort.

Contact Score: hard hitting mid-range

So we created one of the highest performing gear sets in its class for 2018 with our Contact line. Critical acclaim from weekend warriors and media was accompanied by our first SX podium with Luke Renzland and -possibly just as important- our first LIT Kit Award. We could lean back grab a beer and relax or push to make the Contact Score range even better. Being the gear geeks and fabric nerds we are, we chose the latter.

The 2019 Shot Contact Score jersey is more tailored than last year’s. While the anatomic cut provides unrestricted mobility, the shirt is roomy enough to wear protection underneath. For even more comfort we inserted lycra inserts on the shoulders. Never fading colors keep your fave colors looking fresh.

Although we managed to shave off 4% of the Contact pants weight it’s not just the feather weight materials that demand most attention. The dobby construction is blended with spandex areas to give you protection, wear resistance and mobility. Four-way spandex at the knee, crotch and back give you the comfort of your favorite joggers. Pre-curved fit and an extended stretch area in the back provides the freedom to express your way of riding. Full attack like TKO, or smooth and controlled like Thomas Covington! Similarly to the Aerolite pants we continue to reinforce the rear saddle panel to keep your pants in great condition as long as possible.

The all-new short-cuff design Shot Race Gear Contact Score gloves give you protection and comfort where you need it, but simplifying the construction to trim all you don’t. Vented mesh and silicone finger prints keep your paws fresh and in control, no matter the conditions.

Devo Ultimate: true to form

Our designers are not only passionate when it comes to putting together sweet colourways and great features. They’re at least as adamant about the names for each line! For good reason. This year’s Devo line represents the ultimate package for everyone in the market for a great gear set at a great price.

The overhaul of the Devo pants for 2019 was a big challenge. Our aim to give you the most bang for your buck has been our driving force once again. An incredible ultra light (500 grams) 600 polyester chassis in combination with an anatomic fit for a better riding position and the all-new spandex crotch are guaranteed to make the Devo Ultimate pants even more comfortable. Meticulous attention went into the placement of all different panels. Not that you would notice but that’s the whole point.

For 2019 the Devo Ultimate jersey received new raglan sleeves for a more relaxed feeling. Developed to be worn with protection underneath, this shirt is all about style and safety. The longer tail keeps the jersey tucked in while the fade-resistant sublimation process has your colors screaming they won’t run.

Perfect balance is more than neat, but it’s exactly what went into the Devo Ultimate gloves. The grotech palm assures all comfort and feeling you need. Neoprene cuff, 3D vented mesh, reinforced thumb, these babies are packed with all the right stuff while making sure even your hands can breathe when they’re hard at work.
