Race one

Pauls Jonass took a start to finish victory over teammate Jorge Prado. Olsen was third with an impressive Geerts in fourth and Conrad Mewse, despite a crash,  finished fifth.

Jonass said: “It’s so cold the first 15 minutes I was struggling to warm up – I was riding frozen on the bike! But then once I got a rhythm I felt better, at the end of the moto I could push more and I saw Jorge falling back.”

Race two

Pauls Jonass won a cracking race after going head-to-head with his teammate Jorge Prado for the entire 30 minutes plus 2 laps to win by 3 tenths of a second!

The pair finished a whooping 37 seconds ahead of third place Thomas Kjer Olsen such was the ferocity of their pace.

Jonass said: “Jorge was behind me all the time, it was really difficult. the holeshot helped a lot, I didn’t ride my best race.”
