Mathys Boisrame won in front of his home crowd and took the championship lead in EMX2 after red plate holder Martin Barr had a terrible start then got caught in an early race crash and could only get 20th place. Mel Pocock faired better with a solid sixth but it wasn’t enough to stop Boisrame taking the points lead.

Boisrame leads by four points over Pocock with Barr 15 behind Boisrame in third.

In EMX125, Frenchman Benistant dominated very impressively to the delight of the home crowd with championship leader Hofer coming through to second and Rick Elzinga an impressive third in his first race back after two broken wrists.
