Red Bull backs two-stroke ride days!
Premier energy drink brand Red Bull is supporting the Apico 2-Stroke Festival series by backing two action-packed ride days for 2-stroke riders only; the first of which is on Thursday, the 6th of June 2019.
Two of Red Bull’s athletes, factory KTM riders Nathan Watson and Jonny Walker, will be on hand to not only put on demo rides but give professional training tips and advice to all riders.
The idea is to create a fun and enjoyable 2-stroke-only day for all riders – from grass roots to the most serious racers – ahead of the final two Festival events.
The first Red Bull practice day will be at the Ironworks circuit in Middlesborough on June 6th, and the second will be held at Kent’s Sellindge MX in August, at a date to be finalised.
On each of the ride days, riders will benefit from;
• Professional training advice from Red Bull athletes Jonny Walker and Nathan Watson
• Free testing of DEP exhaust pipes on their own bike
• Trying the new Leatt goggles
• Testing GET CDI units on your their bike• Free samples of Putoline oil
• Barbecue and music!
The event is totally free for riders who have registered for the Apico 2-stroke Festival. Non-registered 2-stroke riders can also join the fun by paying the standard practice track day rate of £35 – but spaces are limited. This is event is for riders age 16 or over only.
Apico 2-stroke Festival organiser Dave Willet said: “It’s great to be working with Red Bull as well as all the other brands who have come on board. With these exclusive ride days we are bringing something new and giving back to the sport. We aim to provide great fun for the grass roots riders in our sport.”
