Quarti to make MX2 debut in Imola

Young Italian, Yuri Quarti has secured a wildcard for the final round of the MX2 World Championship taking place at Imola this weekend.

Not only is it an MX2 World Championship debut for Quarti but he will also get to race in front of his home crowd to make it even more special. Silver Action KTM rider, Nicola Bertuzzi is currently out injured so the team have decided to allow Quarti to race Imola instead.

The last two years Quarti has focused on the EMX250 Championship and now needs to secure himself a ride for 2019. With doubts about the future of the Silver Action KTM team it’s a good opportunity for Quarti to impress in what will be his last race of the season.
