Prado wins Imola!

Jorge Prado took both moto wins in Imola to end his world title winning season in style.

But it wasn’t as simple as it seemed in moto one with Hunter Lawrence leading the race until the last few laps when his bike expired. Prado was only a second back and putting the pressure on but it meant he could relax for the last couple of laps before the celebration for his win and world title started when he crossed the finish line.

In race two Prado passsd early race leader Covington to control the race with Hunter Lawrence charging from eighth to second in his final ever GP moto and wondering what might have been if his Honda had stayed in one piece in moto one.

Prado said: “Coming into this weekend as wanted to end the season with a win. The most important thing was th title and we got it, all the work paid off.”
