Post season surgery for Strijbos

The season is officially over for Kevin Strijbos after the last round of the MXGP World Championship took place at Imola. The Belgian also had his last race for the Standing Construct KTM team so the future is rather unknown for him, will that his be his last ever GP? It remains to be seen.

Strijbos has been dealing with injuries this year and requires surgery on his elbow to get it fixed. His elbow had been troubling him throughout the course of the season but now the season is over he can go under the knife.

Last GP of the year is done. DNF and 9th in the races. Felt good out there. The season was a difficult one with injury’s. I tried my best but it was not easy. Happy i can get surgery later this week to fix the elbow. All good things come to an end they say. Wanna say huge thanks to @standingktm for their support they give me and keep believing in me during the season, My race mechanic @factorydave, practice mechanic Hollywood aka @vanlracing, engine guy @mecwimpie, @decyriel81 who only wanted to be my mechanic when i was in spain, he propably still looking for a buffalo grill in Barcelona (inside joke), suspension guy @drieshendrix , truckdriver @proke3049 and his wife, last but not least the boss @timmathys_ and @griet__s and all the team sponsors! Im sure we had the best and happiest crew out there.Another big thanks to my girl @yentlhaazen22ks for sticking behind me, you are a great mom! My son Jayden who makes life (most of the time ) so much more fun, all my personal sponsors @acerbismotorsport @suomyhelmets @ride100percent @ortema.de @formaboots @denicol_lubricants @playsportsbe, Hens, all the fans who always supported me in good and bad times!
