Pootjes out until Assen
Young Dutch talent, Davy Pootjes has had a tough few years with injuries and this year was going well in that respect until the fly away GP’s in Indonesia.
Unfortunately, Pootjes hurt his shoulder and back, he didn’t break any bones which is good news. However, before making a return to the MX2 World Championship Pootjes wants to be 100% so he can show good results and not just make up the numbers.
In the past the young Dutch talent might have rushed into a return so it’s good to see him take this approach. Now a days you have to be 100% for good results, especially with the high level.
Pootjes will miss the Bulgarian and Turkish GP’s before returning at his home GP in Assen where he’ll be motivated to put on a good show in front of his home fans.
