Davy Pootjes has revealed his will miss the rest of the season after needing surgery on an inflamed wrist.

The Dutchman had a great start to the year and was showing his potential after years of promise but unfortunately the injury bug struck him down again just as it has in nearly every season since he went to MX2.

Hopefully next season he can get through the season unscathed!

Hi Guys, Really dissapointed to tell you that I’m out for the rest of the season due to an inflamation in my wrist.. after GP czech when I injured my ankle again, I was at home and somehow I got also pain in my wrist. I went to doctor Claes and made some scans which resulted an inflamation in my wrist. Had to take some weeks off for my wrist and wear a brace. But after those weeks the inflamation got bigger and bigger which resulted in surgery last thursday. I really don’t know why badluck keeps hitting me but a winner never gives up so I wont. Thanks to my family & family in law. My team Diga, My trainers, girlfriend, mechanic Nico , all my sponsors, supporters & everyone else for the support this year! I see you next year 🦁
