Brilliant news as the points for the second MX2 moto will now stand! After telling Lieber that he won’t have the red plate, it looks like they have changed there minds and rightly so!

This all means that Bernardini’s first race win, Jeremy Seewer’s first GP overall and Lieber’s points lead all stand heading into round three of the championship.

Julien posted the following message on his Facebook page:

“After all, the second race counts for the championship standings and Julien keeps the red plate until the next round!

After being, 3rd and 4th, he takes the 3rd place overall and the lead in the championship.

Apologies for the misunderstanding! We’ll keep you up to date for the next Grand Prix on March 19th in Argentina”

The MX2 World Championship standings now look like this:

  1. Julien Lieber – 78 points
  2. Jeremy Seewer – 72 points
  3. Benoit Paturel – 71 points
  4. Thomas Kjer Olsen -67 points
  5. Pauls Jonass – 57 points
