Pichon to make career change – Enduro?

Zach Pichon has now had two years racing in the MX2 World Championship. Since signing with the 114 Motorsport team, Pichon has had some good moments and improved as a rider.

This year he finished twenty-fourth in the MX2 World Championship missing some races with injury along the way.

Earlier in the week, Livia Lancelot confirmed the 114 Motorsports team will have a new rider line up for the 2020 season. With that being the case, Pichon will be looking for a new ride.

Zach’s, father, Mickeal posted on social media that China could be his son’s last ever MX2 World Championship race. “Let’s go Zach of what could be his last ever MX2 GP race . We are proud of you, you gave your best all year long for your first full GP season despite some injuries throughout that long season. Good job son”,

The young French talent might be about to make a career change as he could be heading to Enduro.

Paul Malin whilst commentating on the MX2 World Championship in China stated he’d spoke to Zach who said he’s looking at the idea of racing Enduro in 2020.

Pichon is scheduled to contest a French Enduro race in a few weeks time to test the waters. If this is the career change Pichon will make he’ll follow Nathan Watson and Christophe Charlier who have recently made the switch from Motocross to Enduro as well.
