Petrov confirms 2020 plans – MXGP

Petar Petrov has confirmed his plans for the 2020 season and the good news is that he’ll be staying in the MXGP World Championship. 

The team Petrov was with this year, North Europe KTM have joined forces with VRT KTM. The new team will be known as the VRT Nordpesca team. 

Guyon has already announced he’ll stay with the team and Petrov is the second rider confirmed to be under the awning for the 2020 season. 

“I am happy to get this deal done. I will be staying with my team and they will be joining forces with VRT KTM so I feel like it’s a good package and I am excited. My results since I have been on the 450cc haven’t been great but I hope to turn this around next season and show what I can do and can’t wait to start testing and get my winter preparation going”, Petrov told GateDrop.com
