The Dixon Racing team drafted in young Brazilian rider, Gustavo Pessoa last year after Darian Sanayei picked up an injury and it’s now been confirmed he’ll stay for 2019.

Pessoa has experience racing some AMA Nationals but will now get his shot at racing the entire MX2 World Championship on the Dixon Kawasaki. He’ll hope to learn as much as possible and secure some top ten results in 2019.

“The deal came a few weeks after the last GP of this year.  ASW and Dixon started to put the things together and see what we needed for the season and after that we came to an agreement for the best for me”. Pessoa told GateDrop.com.

“My expectations for 2019 season is improve my results each round and try to be consistent during the season. I want to say thanks so much to Ashley Kane for his help with the deal, ASW and Steve Dixon for the opportunity to be in the team for the 2019 season”, Pessoa added.
